Book a Weekly Sailing Tour From Corfu to Syvota

The blue and green, representative of the prefecture of Thesprotia, is the main reason why Sivota is considered one of the most exotic destinations in Greece. The lacey coasts, the green islands, the large protected beaches with crystal clear waters and the secret bays are just some of the characteristics of the settlement that nature has generously offered. It is the ideal stop for sailors of the Ionian archipelago, but it is a must-see destination for everyone.

A short distance from the coast you will find the small islands of Mavro Oros (meaning Black Mountain) Agios Nikolaos, Mourtemenos and other smaller islands. Note that it is worth renting a boat and travel in the calm waters of the area. Discover your own secret coves or beaches (our favourites are Diapori and Alati (meaning salt)) and let the magic of paradise take over.

Where to go swimming in Sivota?

The most famous beach is located in Agios Nikolaos and is none other than Pisina (meaning pool); you will enjoy its fine white sand and clear blue transparent waters, nestled in a lush green environment. At Mourteno, head to the second ‘5-star’ beach in the area, Bella Vraka, which can be reached on foot by crossing a narrow strip of golden sand from the mainland.

Near the centre of the village, visit Zavia beach with its lush green surroundings and turquoise waters. Don’t miss the northern part of Sivota! There Zeri and the sandy white beaches of French Molos (meaning French pier) stand out! Leaving Sivota and heading towards Perdika, two more wonderful beaches will be waiting for you. These are the Mikri and Megali Ammos (meaning small and big sand) where you can practice water sports.
